Don’t Forget Dad

Father’s Day is a good day to reflect on, “What your dad means to you.”

Dad’s come in all shapes and sizes. Happy ones, grumpy ones, can’t do enough for you ones, love you to bits ones, and even make us a cuppa ones. We all love dad and you only get one but sometimes you can get two, if you’re lucky enough to live in a modern blended family.

Whatever form your dad comes in, Sunday 21st June is the day to celebrate and be grateful for the one you have. This Father’s Day I will be pulling out my old photos and celebrate the good times as sadly my dad is no longer with us.

Like Mother’s Day, it looks like the lockdown won’t be completely lifted but the good times will be here soon and we will be able to have family get togethers again.

In the meantime, cherished photographs have become so important.
