Here are a few of the more common questions that we are asked. If you don't find your answer here then please feel free to drop us a line and ask in our 'Contact' section.

Do I Need To Book An Appointment?

Yes.....Our studio isn't manned every day due to us regularly working off site on location. All our sessions are by Private Appointment only.

During your session, we will close the studio so that you feel relaxed and have the freedom to move around between the studio and refreshment area without running into other clients. 



When Shall I Book My Maternity Session?

Normally around the 7 months mark or when you are showing enough bump for a beautiful silhouette.

Everyone is different some show sooner than others.

What Shall I Bring Along To My Maternity Session?                                                                                                                                    

Any items of clothing or props that you would like to be included in the photographs.

Preferred Makeup and hair accessories for freshening up your look.  

Do You Supply Maternity Clothing?

We have a couple of dresses, dressing gowns and a deep red voile maternity gown, which are free size and wrap fabric. Please check with us beforehand for sizing. 

Can I Do My Maternity Shoot Naked?

Entirely up to you. We are extremely discrete and will show you all the images taken on the day.

The studio will be closed during your session so you will have complete privacy.

Our photographer and assistants are all female and we will ensure that a robe is close to hand when the session has ended.


How Do You Define A New Born, Baby And Toddler?                                                                                                            

New Born is a baby up to the age of 1 month.                                                                                                              

Baby is from 1 month to 11 months.                                                                                                                           

Toddler is 12 months to 2 years.


Do You Supply Props For The Newborn And Baby Sessions?

Yes we do. We have a collection of baskets, throws, cushions, costumes and teddies for our clients to use.

You can also bring your own if you have a favourite outfit or cuddly toy. All our props are washed and disinfected between clients.

What Shall I Bring Along To A Newborn/Baby Session?                                                                                                                                    

Any items of clothing, preferably tight fitting so that they don't get caught up whilst posing Baby. If you are having a baby wrap, dress Baby in an outfit that is quick and easy to remove. Props, such as a favourite blanket, mini teddy bear or toy. Any hair accessories or hats. We do have a good selection of headbands available for you to use.


Do You Have A Baby Changing Area?                                                                                                                                     

Yes, we have a matted baby table near the restroom with limited accessories. Please bring any special requirements like nappies, wet wipes and cleaning clothes. We also have a baby bouncer to help sooth Baby if needed.


What Shall I Bring Along To My Portrait Session?                                                                                                                                    

Any items of clothing or props that you would like to be included in the photographs.

Preferred Makeup and hair accessories for freshening up your look.  

Do I Need To Do My Own Makeup?                                                                                           

Unless you have organised a make-up artist during the booking process then yes!

We can supply an artist at an additional fee.

Do You Have A Changing Room?                                                                                                                                            

We have a restroom that you can take over for the session where you can change and leave you clothes

and refresh your hair and make-up.


How Long Will The Session Take?                                                                                                                               

Depends which package you have booked. Mini sessions tend to last 30 minutes whereas a full session can be up to 2 hours.


Do You Have Insurance?                                                                                                                                                  

Yes, we have Professional Indemnity and Liability Insurance in place.

How Can I Pay?                                                                                                                                                               

Payment is made at time of booking via Bank Transfer. You can also pay Card and Cash on the day at our Studio.

No images will be release until full payment is made.

Do You Have a Car Park?

No, but there is off road disabled parking at the front of the studio and a public car park around the back where the first 2 hours are free.

Please remember to log your registration and take a ticket.

Covid Precautions and Cleanliness

Covid restrictions have now been lifted but please let us know if you would like us to wear masks. Our studio is cleaned between clients and all prop, blankets and clothing are laundered, disinfected and steam cleaned. Teas and coffees are served in recyclable paper cups for hygiene purposes.
